Reminder that the Milford Art Affaire is Saturday, September 27th from 11am to 5pm along Main Street in Milford, OH. I will be set up at booth 114. Come check it out if you’re local!
Now for some announcements. I’ve taken a break this summer to reflect on my artwork, my process, and what goals I have as an artist. This has led me to a few changes I’ll be making moving forward:
Changes for my next set of original paintings
First, I’ll be changing my color palette a bit. While bright, saturated colors will still be a part of my artwork, in order to use the reclaimed earth pigments in my coming work, I will need to shift to having some muted colors. My goal is to make as much of my painting as I can with the repurposed pollution pigments from Gamblin to help support cleaning the Ohio waterways.
My next set of original paintings will be released as a collection. It will center around the general themes of transition and transformation with each painting having a unique message. My goal is to release this around January 2026.
Retiring art prints
Starting September 12th, I will no longer be offering open edition art prints for my original paintings. This is to allow me to focus more of my time and energy on creating higher quality original paintings that will help me grow as an artist. In the future, I will do limited edition releases of specific art prints and will announce them through my email newsletter. All art print orders placed before September 12th will be processed so there’s still time to get one on my online studio!

Tree of New Life: Original available. Prints available until September 12th!
My next email will highlight my September painting release including my finished painting from the Wyoming Art Show as well as a few study pieces. Keep an eye out for it!
