About the Artist
I'm Jennifer (Lange) Dufau
A contemporary artist in Cincinnati, OH, creating spiritual paintings that feel like a vivid dream. After starting my career as a medical speech-language pathologist, I felt inspired to learn acrylic and oil painting techniques to capture the intense resilience I would see in people after traumatic events. Painting has evolved into my way of creating meaning out of the suffering in life. My technique uses bold brushstrokes and nature-inspired symbolism focused on light and beauty.
I am a self-taught artist and member of American Women Artists and The Women’s Art Club of Cincinnati. I have exhibited my work for 5+ years at art shows near my home in Cincinnati, OH where I live with my husband and son (and another child on the way!)
