Sorry this update is a little late, but we were busy moving! Very exciting but took a little bit more time to do with a toddler. We’re all settled in and I’m ready to share some exciting updates:
Milford Art Affaire
Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 27th for the Milford Art Affaire! This will be held along Main Street in Milford, OH. This will be my second year doing this event, I will send out more details closer to the date.
Updates on My Current Painting
My latest painting is the one I was working on during my live painting demo at the Wyoming Art Show. It’s just about done! The move delayed its finish, but it is now in the finishing stages! Right now, I’m just taking time to add the final details but wanted to give you a preview of the (almost) finished painting.
Also sorry for the glare, still working on the lighting in my new studio space!

A New Painting Project
One thing I love about how I’ve chosen to start my art career is how much creative freedom and flexibility I have. I recently learned that Gamblin has created some paints made from pollution pulled from Ohio waterways. To try and support this project, I’ve created a painting challenge for myself using these paints in a limited palette. This will be a bit of a shift from my normal color palette, but I’m hoping it will help strengthen my use of color theory and help me improve as an artist. I’ll be sharing more details about this in my next email so stay tuned!
