This painting went through multiple iterations from its initial conception to its final form. In the end, I decided to let my intuition take over and guide the process. I wanted this painting to give a sense of wonder and mysticism about the ordinary things in life.

This painting is in oil and incorporates the reclaimed earth pigments made from pollution pulled from Ohio waterways: Rust Red, Iron Violet, and Brown Ochre (all wonderfully earthy pigments). These are mixed throughout various layers of the painting.
This piece is 16x20 inches and $640. It will be available at the Wyoming Art Show on May 17th with the rest of the collection.
